Buying Watches In Greenwich, Connecticut: Manfredi Jewels
Welcome back to an watches-dealer original series, where we discuss important stores that sell watches all over the world. Each store we profile has an interesting story to tell about where they operate and who they sell to. Whether you buy watches from brick and mortar retailers or prefer to buy watches online, these are the stores that help shape our watch culture around the globe. There is a long list of stores to cover, but if there is a retail location in your favorite city that we simply can't miss, let us know in the comments below.Where to buy watches in Greenwich, Connecticut? When most watch lovers hear "Greenwich," they often think of Greenwich, England which is home to the Royal Observatory and the Prime Meridian (hence GMT being Greenwich Mean Time). But if you are an affluent watch lover in the greater New York City area, you might instead think, "that's where I live." Normally you would not expect to find a high end watch store in a quiet town of 62 thousand. But as a des
Considering getting first AP (ROC) but wanted to ask some current owners...
Hi guys as stated I am really getting the itch for a 41mm ROC with white dial. I wanted to ask some current owners if it could be a daily wearer?I bought a 116610LV about 2 months ago and I really do love it however I am possibly starting a new job soon which is going to be suits 6 days a week. While I do agree the ceramic subs do go nicely with suits I think/hope the ROC will be absolutely perfect for my new job and also the weekend! My worry is picking up scratches a lot as my Rolex is incredibly robust etc My job will involve a lot of desk diving etc also do people swim/steam in them etc as when I am travelling leaving it in the gym bag is a big no no for me personally!I realise in an ideal world I would have both but I am 25 years old and would 100% have to flip the LV to get this and realistically it would be my daily wearer. I am a bit worried maybe I am jumping ahead of myself? Is the AP more of a watch to go with another that's lesser value? Any help would be hugely appreciated
Tools for resizing bracelet
So.. I got a new Omega Speedy Pro last night.I got it via mail ( I know , not quite the AD experience , but for a few hundred $ saving its okay me). Now I am trying to take a link out on either side - I could wait till Monday and go to a shop , but you know how it is... I want to wear it NOW.So are there any objects around the house that I could use to knock the pin out without scratching anything ( I have the hammer , looking for something to hit with the hammer). Tried a needle - too narrow and flimsy, tried a nail , just just too thick although that would, I think, work if it was the right sizeAny suggestions for a DIY job ??Thanks upfrontGreg
Any Reviews on the Speedy Solar Impulse?

My first INCOMING in a while....
My first change in the lineup in two years.....Explorer II polar out....DJ41 in.I'm very happy with my new purchase. Supremely comfortable, beautifully balanced, and slightly more dressy than my other watches. It's my first time with a Jubilee bracelet (which only became an option for me because it has an easylink) and I can see why people love them.Happy to say that I bought from my friendly AD. I told them what I could buy for on the grey market, and they matched the price before ordering it in for me. Had the watch two day's later...
