IWC, The Plastiki, And A Limited Edition Adventure Ecology Ingenieur Watch
The wind speed was brutal. It was almost unfair. I was out in what felt like a gale for literally seconds before my expensive European umbrella was trashed and I was soaked. The wind warped it like aluminum foil in front of my eyes like it was a sick marionette puppet performance. In the past I had trusted its apparent durability to the elements with much confidence. In one fell swoop the elements decided to test its limits with a result that would satisfy a giggling teenager. The pathetic thing was that I wasn't doing anything exotic. I merely exited my car in Sausalito near a marina across from San Francisco. The wind was viciously quick that day. I had driven over on invitation from IWC to witness the Plastiki. A boat that they are a major sponsor of, and have released a limited edition set of their popular Ingenieur watches for. While I was being bullied by the elements, my view (through the rain), was the completed 60 foot catamaran style boat made mostly out of reused, or recycled

For only about $30,000, any model chosen among a wide variety of watches Corum will bring its owner many victories Glorieuses.
It was supposed to be a ROLEX, I swear!!!
Well, I decided I was going to do it today. For my 32nd birthday this month finally purchase the Rolex watch I've wanted for so long, the No-Date Submariner...black dial...stainless steel..timeless. I wanted a brand new Rolex to keep forever. Well, I walked into Tourneau at the Pentagon City Mall and headed straight for the Rolex section. The extremely beautiful Adriana showed me the Sub. It looked beautiful, but didn't make my heart go pitter-patter when I had it on my wrist like I thought it would.Next I looked at several Omega watches. I liked them very much, but again...no pitter patter. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the Breitling section. I've never given any thought to owning a Breitling. I saw the SuperOcean on mesh....and it had an aura around it....what is that? I thought to myself.Adriana spotted where I was looking. Oh, do you want to see that? I really like these., said Adriana. I saw this watch and thought, sheesh...this will be way more than the Rolex. It was gorgeous
AT DD Pic
I feel like the Omega section doesn't get nearly the love it deserves. So I figure, start posting some pics. Build it up a bit with some watch eye candy. Wearing my AT today. I put it on an OEM rubber strap with white stitching. I really like this watch a lot.
Authentic Panerai Strap advice needed
Wanted some help here.I wanted the JV strap for my 512, but they don't make it. I can have one custom from Panerai but they charge 100 over retail and then 6 weeks to make. I found something very similar and wanted to know if anything is off. It looks legit to me but want to confirm. Any help appreciated.
