Grateful to all who really talked me in getting this piece. The finishing detailing contrast is just avant garde AP skill. It was difficult letting go of the RG 42mm but after wearing this all day and being spell bound by its presence on the wrist no regrets. In my humble opinion it qualifies for a statement piece
opinions on Chronomat requested
I'm thinking of adding one in the future, but I was curious what TRF thinks of the model as well as the B01 movement.I prefer watches with an interesting history, and I believe the Chronomat was the first chronograph with an auto winding mechanism. Please correct me if I'm wrong.Rolex is my favorite brand because of the history of their tool watches, but I would like a few non Rolex models in my collection.I already own a SO 42 and a 14060m.
Incomming...
Hello all. I will start this off by saying that I traded my 14060m Sub today for a pre-owned Planet Ocean chrono in black, with the orange numerals. I was going to go with a regular PO in full orange but thanks to one of our own, Bodybump (Oscar), I was drawn to the chrono instead. Eventually I will obtain the orange bezel and chrono pushers so someday I can change up the look when I long for a new watch. I also figured that black would be more versatile in the strap department. I am going to be watching the clock for the next two to three days until my new beauty is on my wrist... it's going to be a long few days...
Grail: Planet Ocean Seamaster Chronograph
My friend just bought his grail watch and was kind enough to let me take some pics of it. I think it is just great looking and massive as well. Are there many more out there? I just haven't seen many in the wild.
