Small size omegas
I am puzzled why there are so few listings for the 37.5 mm omegas. Do women just keep their watches forever or buy something else or nothing?
Its finally here!
Finally got my Speedmaster Pro after waiting for over a week! I've been reading a lot of reviews on this watch and I figured its an essential watch to have. I really wanted it on leather but got it on a bracelet after reading a post on this forum which made a lot of sense cause an omega bracelet will cost me more later on than a leather strap. Anyway, I'm happy with this purchase! I wonder how long it will be before I go crazy over another watch... that JLC Reverso does look mighty fine on my wrist! HAHAHA!
Return to Panerai?
I had a 312 for awhile and it lost its wrist time after getting into Rolex. I sold it and purchased a DSSD with the funds. I've been casually visiting this sub forum the last few weeks and starting to get that itch again. Over the weekend I was out shopping with my wife and visited a watchmaker/used dealer I've used in the past that was in the area. I tried on a preowned 233 w/ dot dial and a 270. I really really dig the look of the domed crystal. Now I see why so many covet the 233. Anyways the owner said if I was serious we can work something out on the 233. The last month or so I've been obsessing over an AP RO and thought about getting one for my 40th bday. Getting the 233 would derail that a bit, but looking at preowned or even BNIB from trusted sellers, it looks like AP RO can be had when ready (except the blue dialed non-jumbo ones).Well don't want this to be a PAM vs AP thread, as they are apples vs oranges. Looking at watch recon, 233 dot dial aren't as common, but
177 or 176, be great to have feedback
Hi all... Newbie is finally in touch with a recommended dealer at reasonable pricesAs if narrowing down the options of all the different references wasn't enough - I've now got to decide on the intricacies within the individual references so I'm asking for help....Sandwich or painted??The 177 is g series paintedThe 176 is sandwich (not sure which year)I'm of the understanding both are discontinued as of 2014 to make way for the in-house movements and bigger cases to come...Is it true the base (176) is more sought after? Is the base look with sandwich more of the original panerai style? Is it true the painted g 177 is also special as then they went sandwich after this? Its a first Pam purchase... There is a 500 differential... Which way would you go??Thanks so much for taking the time
Incoming! Tudor Black Bay Noir ETA!
Found out a friend of mine had a BNIB fully stickered Black Bay Noir ETA in his safe that he didn't want anymore. I jumped at the opportunity to grab it and now its here! I sold my first one a year and half ago, so its nice to finally have it back considering that they are getting harder to find. Not big on the BB bracelet, so this one is gonna live its life on straps!
