I'm serious, I'm going into therapy to forget this place
I started a poll on the rolex forum, between the platoon and the RG ROO. At the time I had only handled the platona, a week passed by, tried on the ROO, game over.
Incoming...from AP boutique in Tokyo
On my way out of Tokyo today I decided to visit the Tokyo boutique in Ginza because I had a later flighty an expected.Well... I thought I'd go in and just see the boutique only pieces but I guess I don't have the self control to just walk out. I wanted to repurchase a SS Diver I sold a while back....well I guess I'll have it in ceramic form instead! Here is an iPhone shot from the train to the airport after my purchase downtown Sent from my iPad 3 using Tapatalk
which ap to get for my first ap?
Im thinking about picking up an AP. I love the panda dials. I just can't decide on which model I like best. I like the 44mm chrono but not too sure about the rubber band? Do they have leather bands for that one...
Liquid Metal on Rubber?
Have any members of the Liquid metal club put the Silicone band on?I'd love to see pics of that...I am officially on a WAITING LIST at Omega Boutique in NYC...Word has it that there is to be a price increase March 1st...they may or may not have any available before then...
PP deployant vs pin buckle
Deployant or pin buckle, which do you prefer and why? I'm about to pick up a new watch (pictures next week) and it's platinum with a pin buckle and I'm considering converting to a deployant. Due to cost concerns Tracy the strap lady at H. Stern suggested white gold which makes sense, it's 2K cheaper. I've heard the deployant is more secure when taking the watch on and off and the pin buckle is more secure in terms of the watch staying on the wrist and not falling off inadvertently. Is this correct? I've owned the 5205 with pin buckle and it seemed to pull the watch to one side of my wrist. I've tried on a 5960 with deployant and the fit was perfect, the shape of my wrist seems to be ok with the deployant and from what I've read that is sometimes a problem. Thanks in advance for your answers.
