The build up was intense. Months of teasers and speculation to see what new CEO of TechnoMarine Vincent Perriard would do to the brand that desperately needed a refresh. At the same time, Perriard only had a few months because he was new to the brand - fresh out of his seat at Concord. His task was to release new watches for Baselworld 2010 to be interesting enough for people to notice the brand again. Not an easy task, especially given the molasses like pace of the watch industry. The middle of March was the proving ground - would the new collection have enough appeal to convince enough people the brand was? worth paying attention to again.In the 1990s TechnoMarine was a big deal because it was another "mold breaking" brand. Breitling m2000
Hey All,My fianc�� bought me a Breitling SuperOcean m2000 as an engagment gift recently and it came with a leather strap. I was just wondering if anyone has ever switched straps on these watches and how difficult it is to do so. I am debating potentially getting a rubber diver strap or the bracelet for it, or both. If anyone is familiar with the watch, do you know if it would need the polished bracelet or if it can handle the brushed!Thanks for your help!

Thinking of getting back into Panerai.....opinions please?
Had a few in the past and thinking about a return to Panerai. Not a big fan of the date on Panerai models but not a deal breaker either. Ideally a 42mm model will fit me best but I can handle 44mm......my wrist size is 6.75. These are the models I have been looking at....392, 512, 560, 590.....thoughts/likes/dislikes on those? Any other models that I should be looking at from the Panaristi crowd here? Thanks in advance for your consideration and suggestions.Steve
