Seiko Coutura Watch On TV: Watch Advertising Hits The Mainstream
For a long time in the US, watch Advertising was limited to spots in the Wall Street Journal and financial or business magazines (not to mention the limited number of watch magazines such as WatchTime, Revolution, International Watch, and others). Rolex was the king of the advertising heap, but you weren't about to a Rolex advertisement on television. When will Omega release their Caliber 9300? Its an Omega in-house, 14-ligne, self-winding, column wheel chronograph movement. Basel next year?2. When will the Seamaster Planet Ocean come with the 8500 caliber? Price point? $5000?
175th anniversary in October
As you know, Patek will celebrate their 175th anniversary in October, by releasing a set of special time pieces. Mr.Stern mentioned in the following interview, that this time they will try to please regular Patek collectors as well, by releasing not only ultra-high-end pieces:What do you think the new releases would be? Any wild (or not so wild) ideas?I personally believe it could well be something that noone expects. Like a limited run of a steel 2499, or a titanium 5970
