Loiseau 1f4 Watch
The coolest part of this ultra-complex watch called the 1f4 is really tough to notice unless you are looking for it. Even though this timepiece is double-sided (quite literally and I will get to that), it is an automatic. The spinning rotor of the watch is placed in the bezel, actually both bezels. You see, the bezels are actually made out of sapphire crystal. Under them is a spinning piece of 18k gold (available in various gold colors) that is the rotor. The only problem is that the transition between the sapphire and the rotor is so smooth you can't even tell they are different. So to inform you that something is actually spinning, each rotor has a single inset diamond that spins around. This little feature is the beginning of one of the most technically sophisticated timepieces on the planet.My hands-on experience is with an unfinished 1f4 prototype. Brainstorming Session/Watch Help!
Hey Guys,About two weeks ago I purchased my first AP Rubberclad Black Dial. I've had a Yellow Gold Black Dial Rolex Daytona for about 5 years now and rarely wear it as it isn't the most practical watch to wear every day. I've thought about trading it or selling it but was hoping some of your brilliant watch minds could hear a few of my ideas and give some feedback.A little background is that I also have a vintage Rolex Submariner Black Dial and a Cartier Roadster XL Silver Dial. I work in media so I usually wear an Apple Watch to work and mix in the above two.1) Sell Daytona or do even trade and get AP Royal Oak Chronograph2) Sell Daytona and get Rolex GMT II Batman and keep the extra cash (~8/9K)3) Sell Daytona and keep the money4) Keep Daytona and as I get older it'll get more practicalBest,Scott

A question of movement
I was milling around the mall yesterday waiting for my wife,I strolled into a jewelry store to check out the cases.As I was looking at the Tags, I was greeted by a... what kindawatch you got on there !!! It was my new Planet Ocean 45 mmwith orange bezel on black rubber w/ orange stitch band.Then he said you know Omega, Breitling, and Tag are al thesame, take the case off and they are identical, only differenceis the price. The movements are all the same !!I am new, still learning, this didn't sit right with me, all thesame ???? I will check it out on TRF!I told him have a nice day,and promptly left.HELP!!!! was he right ??????I didn't think so. (sorry, long story)Educate me !!!!!THANKS
