WATCH GIVEAWAY: Minus-8 Layer Automatic
This month on watches-dealer, you can enter for a chance to win a timepiece by the new San Francisco, California-based watch company Minus-8 (referring, of course, to GMT-8 as the time zone of San Francisco). The watch is called the Layer, and it combines a hip modern design with a Japanese automatic mechanical movement. Further, the Minus-8 Layer watch has an NFC-enabled silicon strap which includes a "near field communication" chip that allows the watch to interact with smartphones and other devices. There are a range of things that NFC in a watch can be used for. One good example, is allowing the watch to "unlock" a phone when it is in near proximity to it. There are currently four available versions of the Minus-8 Layer watch. Each comes in a steel case colored different with PVD coating applications. The case is 45mm wide, with a sapphire crystal, and 100 meters of water resistance.Inside the Layer watch is a Japanese automatic mechanical movement which is visible through a transpa
Excellent Vestal Men's ZR3003 ZR-3 Chronograph Gunmetal Black Dial Watch
You do not want to brag or anything, but when you said that it is large, you were not bullshitting. To withdraw your sleeve and allow everyone to take a gander in the envy of the ZR-3 of the Vestal watch. The face of 52 mm and stainless steel band big, hard enough to inspire all of your buddies go out and buy oversized monster-trucks to offset.
where to source dial to chronomat 13048?
As title says, im contemplating buying an older and quite nice 13048 SS/18k. Only problem ist that it has the white dial. This model IMHO suits the black dial alot more. Soo, where to source this? Much easier if it was omega as ofrei/ebay/watchadoo/i could go on and on has tons of parts. And im not interested in getting 13050 dial. Needs to be correct.thanks
Strange Seamaster Script
I have a 1969 145-018 Seamaster Chrono. which I am attaching a picture of.I have seen a few of these around over the years, but none with a configuration of the S in Seamaster like this one. Most of the ones I see have the rounded S.Does anyone know about the different shapes of the S's and the history that may be attributed to them.
Slightly off-topic Omega post...
I had the opportunity to buy (but passed it up) a Speedmaster with the new 9300 Omega movement. I am starting to regret not seizing the opportunity. The watch was absolutely gorgeous. Anyone own one of these or had the pleasure of wearing one? Interested to hear your take.
