Hands-On: Kent Wang Bauhaus v3
Kent Wang is no stranger to Worn & Wound. Last year we reviewed the Art Deco watch, Wang's second timepiece and ode to Art Deco design philosophy. That watch had a sculpted geometric case and a beautiful guilloche dial featuring an ornate sunburst designed by Louise Fili. This time around we got our hands on the latest iteration of Kent Wang's first-ever watch, the Bauhaus. As the name suggests, the Bauhaus watch pulls its influence from the Bauhaus school of design. The dial bears no logo. Simple hash markers represent the hours and smaller hash markers fill in the minutes. There's also a bordered date window, as well as a set of faceted baton hands. All watches feature a flat sapphire crystal up top and a display back. And that's pretty much it. The only sign of branding or text is an etched "Kent Wang" along the perimeter of the case back. The Bauhaus watch has seen a number of small changes since its inception. The first version (v1) came with a BWAF (Beijing Watch Factory) movem
the annual "should i flip my AP poll"
every now and then i will feel the urge for something new... whether to flip or add, i'm not sure, but i narrowed it down to these 6 choices and just for fun, i'd like to see what the forum thinks:1. Black themes (previous generation without the red highlights)pros: i have it mounted on a rubber strap so it's both sporty and elegant at the same time. matches anything. if i stick to it, i don't have to spend a dime.cons: sometimes i find it dull and devoid of personality. very 'safe'2. Steel rubbercladpros: cool and sporty lookingcons: i would only want the H series with the updated glossy dial and white gold AP logo and chrono rings and it seems hard to find. also not as formal looking3. Rosegold rubbercladpros: ultra cool and sporty looking. can also be considered elegant because of the goldcons: more expensive. too blingy looking? i'm a pretty down to earth guy so may not suit me...4. Navy (2014 version)pros: sporty looking and blue is my favourite colourcons: not as formal looking.

PAM buckle or clasp?
Hi PAM people!I have a PAM 328 now mounted on a OEM brown aligator strap. I dont mind changing strap, but sometimes to change de buckle can be a pain.I am thinking to buy a new buckle, or a couple. Now the questions, for the OEM straps, can I put a deployant clasp on it? I know some others are thicker. If so, do you recommend it to avoid punishing the strap less? And if so, which one to get? The PAM one is quie expensive, any good ones?If you recommend the buckle, where can I get it? Best,Guillermo
My First Rolex (114060)
So I picked up a brand new 114060 this past Monday from a local AD. I'm stoked I finally have one as I've been saving a bit for it. Here are a few iPhone shots. IMG_5577.JPGIMG_5579.JPGIMG_5580.JPGSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
