Watches NEWS
BEST FROM: watches-dealer & Friends May 22, 2015
We have recently introduced a new series called "Cost of Entry" which features the most affordable model offered by a popular watch company, and we are kicking the series off with none other than Rolex. Speaking of Rolex, we are also taking a close look at their sister company Tudor, and how their newest watches and recently announced in-house movement are going to affect the market for Swiss tool watches. It is often said that the best way to engage customers (and the press) is to invite them to tour the manufacture C we have dozens of manufacture visit articles published here, on watches-dealer. The chance to go on a trip aside, it is through these articles that we can get?closest to the craftsmen and artisans who manufacture the watch,?and such trips are always enlightening and eye-opening. How To Choose What Watch To Buy
The choice of which watch to buy is a deeply personal decision. Even if you own a large collection of timepieces, you've probably carefully considered the purchase of each, as it is a new introduction in your life on your body, and is a very personal accoutrement. The purpose of this article is to help you to learn how to make the decision of what watch to buy.I don't believe that at watches-dealer it is our role to tell you what watch to buy. We aren't here to tell you what you should think is cool, or what constitutes a good-looking watch, or which watches will increase in value. We strongly believe that such decisions should be made by you. We feel that the goal of a watch blog, or any media source, should be to educate and empower an audience so that they can make better, informed decisions for themselves. Doing so will lead to a longer and much more satisfying relationship with any watch (or product otherwise) that you buy.Choosing A Watch Is A Personal ChoiceNevertheless, we unde

Can the Glidelock clasp put self-induced scuffs on bracelet links?
Tomorrow, I'm going to unbox a new Submariner and do the bracelet fitting myself . I intend to adjust links for a proper fit with the Glidelock fully or nearly fully retracted. This means the first one or two bracelet links will still be inside the housing of the clasp (as shown in the attached photo). Should I expect the housing of the clasp to leave scuffs on the links that remain inside of it?Thanks in advance!
