Watch Winner Review: UNIQ P-47 Chronograph
In April of 2014, watches-dealer gave-away a UNIQ P-47 Chronograph watch. The lucky winner was Keith S. from Colorado and he was nice enough to follow-up with these pictures of the P-47 Chronograph watch on his wrist, along with an watches-dealer watch winner review: I was obviously pretty thrilled to find out I was the winner of the UNIQ P-47 Thunderbolt watch giveaway a few weeks back. I never win anything! Ironically, my wife, daughter and I had just returned Memorial Day weekend from a wonderful vacation in Hawaii to find a package waiting from Tblisi, Georgia. In Hawaii we made time to see the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Past its solemn and patriotic tone, on display are a number of incredibly detailed murals depicting many famous air and naval battles fought in the Pacific. These included heavy use of the P-47 Thunderbolt which directly inspired this watch.On top of that, although not a pilot, my father is an Air Force veteran and instilled a love of all things air

AP service London
Further to my post, regarding winding issue on my rubber clad.I decided to head of to London to drop the watch off.Walked from Paddington station to Hanover square.Better than taking the tube!Spoke to Alister, and he recommended a service and water proof/pressure test. Really friendly, and helpful.Anyway back to the subject, a service is around ��880 which Is a couple of 100 more than Rolex charges.Hope I get a AP travel case!!!!As AP UK are moving to purpose built offices, my watch will be serviced in Switzerland. Chrono dial question
I noticed on a planet ocean that one of the small chrono dials was marked with a 7 on top, then a 2, then a 5. I was wondering what increments these were and if for diving.

Speedmaster reserve power
I recently acquired a used Speedmaster triple date 3523.80. It's about nine years old. I'm not concerned about its authenticity, but was curious about its reserve power. The specs on this say 44 hours. I wound it up manually and let it sit undisturbed until it ran out. It lasted just over 52 hours. Is this an anomaly or do others have similar experiences with their Omegas?

So glad I never Fell in Love with Nautilus
I deeply appreciate I never felt in love with this Genta design. People can have their taste. Fair & Square. Not in a +100 years I would pay the market overprice demands for a 5711 or 5712.For these hysterical prices there are +100 watches I would prefer to own.To each his own. So glad I don't see the artistic and aesthetic brilliance in the Nautilus.I see a boring grey steel 1970s Airport disaster movie with Burt Lancaster.
