AP Diver 15703 Steel bracelet
Dear friends, in this Forum there are a lot of photos to be seen of a steel ROO Diver with a steel bracelet - which looks stunning! I always thought that the 15703 is only available with the rubber strap but not with the beautiful steel bracelet I know from the ROO Chrono. Is it possible to use the Chrono bracelet on a 15703?
A well-done "OOBE" video for a 15300
Ok...So this model of AP has been discontinued but I thought some folks might enjoy this Out of Box Experience or OOBE video I found. This guy does a nice job - even down to his manicured nails!Great footage - a little over-dramatized...with music as well.Enjoy!m.youtube/watch?v=xnwHWK2wSas
Gentle way to buff scratches out?
Aloha!Any suggestions for buffing out (if possible) scratches on the bracelet of my Connie? I am hesitant to take anything more than soap/water to it, and wondering if anyone has any experience or knows of a method a reputable jeweler might use to lift or disguise fine scratches? i once had a watch guy steam clean my TAG in front of me and the results were impressive, just a little bath in.... i have no idea. didn't charge me, and I was happy.oh, it's s/steel.
Second Watch Thoughts
I purchased my first Rolex a couple of months ago (stainless GMT II) and I'm looking for my second. I'm leaning towards a black sub but wondered what people's thoughts are on owning two watches that look so similar? Thanks
When did Rolex start this "SS & WG" thing?
If you go look at the 36 MM Datejust on the Rolex USA web site, you'll find four configuration options:https://.rolex/watches/dateju...l#configuratorSteelSteel & White GoldSteel & Yellow GoldSteel & Everose GoldThe Steel is the domed bezel. The Steel & White Gold is the same steel Datejust, but it has the same white gold fluted bezel that's always been available - and it was just called STEEL. I find this terribly misleading, because the pattern of the steel & yellow gold and steel & everose gold having the bezel AND actual gold center links on the bracelet would lead one to think that the steel and white gold model had white gold center links, when in fact they are simply polished steel. When did this semantic change occur, and does anybody else find it objectionable, even if it's technically correct?
