Scratched my Panda
Hi all, I have scratched the bezel on my Panda. Its a silver line about 5mm in length. I cannot feel it with my nail but it seems to have polished off the brushed effect and is now shiny silver. Sound familiar ? I had started to think this was just inevitable but having seen some pictures from the forum of other members watches with no scratches I am now thinking I should get this repaired. ( ia m unlucky) I take grate care of it and have no idea how its been done. Please can you advise of the options open to me ?
AP Quality
So I just got an itch and ended up buying 3 watches all at once -- JLC 976, Polar Explorer II 42mm and AP 15400 white dial. Love the AP so much that I started focusing on the ROO as well even though initially they did not do much for me. Anyway, love the AP but the problem is that the quickset date never worked right out of the box (bought from AD). The other watches have been running perfect with no issues, with JLC being the most accurate by far.So the question is how has everyone else's experiences been -- was I just unlucky? How does a watch leave the factory without someone checking to see if all the functions work properly? Just disappointed as I now have to send my watch back and wait and wait for a watch I really wanted to start putting through the paces.Thoughts from the experts?
Omega SMP Olympic Edition 2010
of all the smp models i've owned, this is my fav.
My Constellation has a weak lume, any suggestion??
Here is a picture of my aging but still reliable (other than the lume) constellation:When it is FULL charged it is fine.....but I find at night (even it still glow, it is really blurry, you can hardly see or cant even tell the time). Do I need to send it for a service?? Should go with the OMEGA service? or other watchmakers? How much do you think OMEGA will cost? Does OMEGA also polish the watch like ROLEX service?
