Looking for Citizen Campanola Watches? This eBay Store Often Has a Few For Sale
I often talk about the Citizen Campanola line of watches; one of my favorite lines from the popular Japanese watch maker Citizen. As you know, Citizen Campanola watches represent the very finest in watch making that Citizen can achieve, and their efforts are worth noticing. The Citizen Campanola series serves a very important purpose for watch enthusiasts. It is one of the first line of watch models that is able to provide high quality cases with beautiful designs, and provide a high number of complications at very reasonable prices. The key to this is providing top of the line, hand assembled quartz movements, instead of their mechanical counter-parts. As you likely know, the watch world is sometimes split in to the quartz side and mechanical side. Purists will always stick with the charm of a mechanical watch. They enjoy the idea of wearing a machine on their wrist. However, the quartz movements used in the Citizen Campanola series are nothing to scoff at, and certainly not cheap. Th

My AP Diver died!
My 1 year AP Diver died.Im running with it, i kept running at looking at the watch. I think to myself:i have been running for a long time, but why its only 10 minutes Im so tired but I keep running. After several time I realized the watch has died! I wind it and its still not working. I have many watches like rolex or the ETA tag heuer, they never had any problem with it.Its still under warranty, Im going to service it soon, I hope its free.Im thinking why the high brand and expensive watches like AP can be died by only 1 year of using it? while the cheaper brand with ETA movement doesnt have any problems.Does AP watch should not be used while running? To break the rules you must first master them!
RSC service: How nice is nice?
Hello all! So, I just received my 116520 back from RSC yesterday after about 2 months. This is the first time I've ever sent a watch to RSC for service by the way and I agreed to the full spa treatment as I thought it would be worth it for a Daytona. While I'm sure (I hope) that the quality of the movement service was good, I was not impressed with how the watch looked on the outside when I got it back. They asked me to inspect it, but it was full of fingerprints and some kind of light oil it seems. They handed me a polishing cloth, but I didn't want to wipe down the watch and possibly scratch a newly polished watch. I took it home, knowing there's a fresh 2 year warranty and figured I'm sure all is fine. At home, I immediately gave the watch a nice bath with some Dawn dish soap and got all the greasiness off. I could now really inspect the watch. I must say that the polishing isn't up to snuff with what I would have expected. The brushed areas are uneven, and on the clasp they missed
