ROO Ceramic Stops
Happy Easter guys, I just wanted to get some feedback. I pulled out my anthracite ceramic 44m piece from the safe this past Thursday, set the time and threw it on my wrist. Over the course of the weekend, it has just stopped multiple times. I made sure it was wound sufficiently. I assume this is a simple fix at Clearwater, but wanted to seer if there were any other similar experiences. The watch had not been worn for 8 months or so I would say. Do I just call AP Americas to get something setup? Thanks JPS
Will the stiff 15202 bracelet rest on wrists after removing links?(small wrists)
Looking to see from guys whose wrists are on the smaller side that own a jumbo. We all know how stiff the bracelet is, and I have 6 wrists. The AP representative is pretty confident that after links are removed the watch will rest very nicely as the 39mm size is perfect for smaller wrists, however I don't want to buy it only to then see that it's the wrong fit.Ofcourse I can't ask him to remove the links prior to purchase.I wear a rolex sub and love the way it looks on my wrists. The 37mm 15450 is too small for my taste, and also dressier.Would like to see from guys who own the 15202.Thank you guys
Tried on the new AP ROO Navy - thoughts?
What do you think? Tried this on in Selfridges...the navy strap wasn't on it (I think they didn't want it to get damaged/used or something). I'm trying to think about my next purchase to diversify my collection - right now I only have the Sub Date C. I am also considering a Nautilus 5711 blue dial, but I have yet to be able to try this on! Trying to think about what I would wear most...the Patek would fly under the radar at least, the ROO - not so much (though it probably better fits with my style). This ROO retails for ?19k here in London, but it looks like TRF sellers can get it to me for around ?13k.

I purchased my first Rolex yesterday: Rose Gold Daytona
Hi All,Yesterday, I purchased my first Rolex... after wanting one since 1998 (or so). In 1998, I entered a jewelry shop and noticed a rose gold Rolex Daytona. I fell in love with it, but at the time, $6,000 (if I recall correctly) for a watch was outside of my price range. Now... with 20/20 hindsight, it would have been a good investment. The rose gold Daytona cemented my infatuation with rose gold. When I purchased a jewelry gift for my wife, it would be in rose gold. Whenever I looked at jewelry, I would be drawn to rose gold.Fast forward to last week. I was in Chicago at a research conference (I am a Professor) and I wanted to purchase a set of platinum diamond earrings for my wife to replace a set I bought her early in our relationship. We were skydiving and she lost one of the earrings a couple of years ago, and I have been meaning to get her a new set ever since. In Chicago, I found a diamond broker on Jewelry Row and designed a replacement set of earrings. While I wa
