This watch must have one of the most detailed Chopard watch case that I have ever seen
This watch must have one of the most detailed Chopard watch case that I have ever seen. Here, the image is not to do this is justice, but look at the sides and the back of the watch and you get a visual treat. This edition limited to only 500 pieces 18kt gold watch steps both forward and back with a look cool on the Chopard watches chronograph of race line.
Dial replacement on 15400
Hi everyone,New to the watch world. I have recently taken interest in a watch.. it was a royal oak 15400, and was originally a black dial. The previous owner had sent it to a AP authorized service dealer to have the dial switched out from black to blue. Is there any cause for concern over here? From what i've read it's not too common, or even at all, that they switch to blue dials from white or black dials, as they are 'boutique' or special editions. The seller has sent me the invoice/service report outlining that they did do a dial swap from black to blue and I contacted the service dealer as well in order to confirm that the report is authentic and it was.I'm just a little worried because of what i've read. I just want to make sure that it's legitimate. The store I am buying from is very reputable and have been in the business for a very long time. Also, previous owner had apparently paid significant sum for them to switch it out.I appreciate your help!I've attached a picture of the
Seamaster Aqua Terra in 18k - all I can say is wow!!!
Today I had a chance to visit the Omega store that opened a couple of weeks ago in Tyson's Corner (McLean, VA). Great selection of watches with very helpful and kind sales associates. For the first time ever I had a chance to try on and inspect the 18K Aqua Terra with the grey dial. What a watch! Very elegant and classy, simple and to-the-point interface, great legibility and it doesn't scream as loud as a 18K Rolex GMT or Submariner. I was very impressed. Only one slight problem, MSRP is $30,200 and the Omega stores don't like to discount. I mean, if you pick up a 18K GMT for around $20,000 at least you know you'll more or less get your money back, I would be worried about that with the Omega.Regardless, if you ever have a chance to try one on, don't hesitate!
Any owners of the new 5396g grey dial yet?
I would love to see as many pics as you might have (especially, if possible, next to other watches to give a good idea as to how it compares in size). Thanks!
Sudden change in accuracy. What to do?
Hello everyone! Over the years my Aquanaut 5167 has kept near perfect time. Depending on how it was stored over night, I have been able to self-regulate it to spot on time. Although I'm not OCD with accuracy, it's precise timekeeping ability was a feature that really keeps me in love with this watch. However, about a week ago I noticed that it began loosing about 6 seconds per day. To make matters worse, there now seems to be no ability any longer to self-regulate by storing overnight in different positions. This has me puzzled. It has not been dropped, banged, or otherwise abused in any way. I don't believe it has been exposed to any electromagnetic fields. So I am not sure what would account for the sudden rate change. It was at the Patek Service Center only about 2 years ago for a full service to boot!I hate to send it back to Patek for service over 6 seconds per day. Lord knows it would likely be at the Boutique for 6 months based on the Patek service timetable and likely
