With that in mind, we could C and perhaps we do C take the accuracy of a Rolex watch for granted, so now let's take a look back in time and discover how Rolex have created?the first chronometer certificate wristwatch ever, tested and awarded?by the incredibly demanding Kew Observatory exactly 100?years ago. Those intrigued by the provenly superior accuracy of timepieces will surely?be familiar with COSC (Contr?le Officiel Suisse des Chronomtres), the official Swiss chronometer testing institute that has been issuing certificates since 1973. White Nautilus 5711
I finally have a chance to get the Nautilus. My grey dealer has both the blue and white dials. The blue, however, has no box and papers while the white is BNIB. They are asking for USD38K for the white and USD36K for the blue. I am leaning towards the white for obvious reasons. I wouldn't consider paying this much amount of hard earned cash for a watch without papers. I've looked on chrono24 and it seems the white Nautilus ranges from as low as 32 to 40 thousand US dollars. Do you guys think this is a fair price? I live in China and I seldom get an opportunity like this. Your wisdom and advice would be highly appreciated. Here are some photos of the watch in question. 7hr & 32min with my NEW watch...
After I stopped staring at it, (Which took me about an hour) I went about my business and wasn't aware of it...I took out the Divers Extension...A perfect fit...It's only been a few hours but so far my instincts were correct...A fabulous time piece that is as comfortable as any Sea Dweller I have ever owned...
