There are several reasons that most people should never consider bidding on a watch that has the words “as is” or “for repair” in its description on eBay. In addition to making me have to overpay for adventurous restorations, pieces like this trade at such a small discount that it is rarely, if ever, a cost effective way to get your hands on a great vintage piece. There are exceptions, but for the most part, for collectors this is a losing gamble. This recent adventure very well illustrates this point and shows off awesome vintage Tudor in the process. Recently I have developed an unreasonable interest in wrist alarms. 26400 vs 26401?
I tried searching for this topic, but couldn't find anything on it, so I apologize in advance if this has been covered previously. I'm new to the AP world and been perusing some of the models, and I noticed the 44mm rose gold model comes in 26400RO and 26401RO. Does any one know the difference between the two?Thanks!Eric

Best performing Nautilus by 2022?
I know some will say that watches are not investments and appreciating them is not a monetary concern- and they would all be very right.....Nonetheless, of the in-production Nautilus range which one will see the greatest percentage money appreciation from current price today and 5 years time.
