Basel Preview: Bremont P-51 Limited Edition
Bremont is launching the limited edition P-51, a chronograph chronometer built with original parts from the famous 1944 Mustang WWII aircraft P-51K-10 (serial number 44-12016), a Pacific war veteran that bore the name “Fragile but Agile”. Original aluminum from the fuselage is integrated into both the dial and the movement of the timepiece. The dial is inspired by the clocks found in the P-51 aircraft. The 43mm hardened steel Trip-Tick case uses Bremont's B-EBE2000 technology, a stage in the case production process where the metal is bombarded with electrons, increasing the hardness by a factor of nine compared with normal stainless steel used in watch cases. The case also integrates the new rotating Roto-Click' inner bezel that houses four ball-bearings inside the case. As with many of Bremont's latest watch designs, the P-51 is assembled the company's atelier in England rather than their workshop in Biel-Bienne in Switzerland, and houses a modified Swiss BE-54A automatic

Any AP Enthusiasts In Vegas Today !
Hey Guys, been in Vegas the last couple of days, missed the great blizzard of '15, thank god, 😅. Visited the new AP boutique yesterday and was given the royal treatment by the boutique manager Zizo & his second in command Dom. Great people & visit. Going again today, if anyone of of you guys are around, let's go together & check it out. Zizo said, he's going to have some special pieces bought in for me. Quite excited. Here are some random shots. Also met Luc the RM boutique and he had a wealth of knowledge & was extremely accommodating. Let me know gents. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Feedback needed on the 15400 and 5711
Torn between the 15400 and 5711. I tried on both and they both look good. I don't want to buy both at the moment. Would really like to hear from 15400 owners about the wrist time it gets and what it's like to live with and overall satisfaction (any issues, versatility, dent/scratchability ) If anyone has both- I'd love to know which one you prefer and why. Thanks!
No hacking the seconds hand
Discoved that the seconds hand on my new (to me) 5167 can't be hacked to a 00:00 reset. I was glad to read on a couple of sites that it's a Patek feature (or omission, depending on your point of view) and not a defect on my piece. That would have been a traumatic flub as it just came from a PP servicing. Called my saleswoman, she was surprised, and would check with her watchmaker. How come she didn't know straight away? She's a Patek AD! Why didn't you guys tell me this? Is it expected that new owners are supposed to discover this secret on their own? Otherwise my Aquanaut is performing admirably, accurate to within 2 seconds over the past three days. And it looks great, sits low on the wrist.
