Which Watch Brands Spent the Most on Advertising in 2014?
More big spenders are spending more. That's the situation with watch advertising in the U.S. market. Watch companies here spent an estimated $535.36 million on advertising in 2014, according to Kantar Media, which tracks advertising by brand for a range of products across all media channels. That's an increase of 8.7 percent over 2013. It's the first time spending has exceeded the $500 million mark. Five years ago, in the depths of the Great Recession of 2009, spending was $250.30 million, less than half of last year's amount.Another measure of the watch ad explosion is the amount required to make the list of Top 25 watch advertisers that we print annually (the latest appears in WatchTime’s July-August 2015 issue). In 2014, a brand had to spend $5.1 million to make the list. (Zenith spent $5.01 million and just missed the cut.) In 2013, $4.66 million got you into the Top 25. In 2012, Casio made it with $3.64 million. You'd only get to #39 with that amount in 2014. All told, 71 br

Corum Ti-Bridge for Only Watch
Corum has created a unique version of the Ti-Bridge watch for Only Watch 2009. The new and exclusive movement is designed, developed and assembled in-house. The CO 007 movement is clearly inspired by the Golden Bridge caliber, but the overall style of the timepiece gives the original concept a new and contemporary twist. Both the case and the movement are in titanium, a material known to be lightweight and difficult to work with. The bridges and plates of the Caliber CO 007 are cut from this titanium and black PVD-coated. Theupper bridge is engraved with the Corum brand name. The bridges are satin-finished, while the generously sized barrel is snail finished. The balance oscillates at 4 Hz, giving Caliber CO 007 a 72-hour power reserve. The curved and tonneau-shaped case is made from grade 5 titanium C the only kind that can be polish-finished C and measures 42.5 mm by 41.5 mm. On the case-back, Corum has engraved a famous quote from Antoine de St-Exupry taken from the book Le Peti

Any personal experiences with Combat Straps?
I see they are in Canada...Straps look nice - and only a 2.5 week turnaround? That's mighty fast. My current favorite strap maker is approaching 4 months.Questions (yes I will ping the maker, but hoping for TRF reactions)- How is the quality compared with other custom shops?- Can you choose your lining?- is the hole placement same as OEM? I.e. Do I need to adjust for anything on the strap length?- Anything I should know? Thanks in advance!
