Giveaway: Marvin M107 or M103 Automatic Chronograph Watch
I am very excited to bring you a special watch giveaway here at aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer. This month you can enter to win your choice of either of the above two mechanical chronograph watches from Swiss Marvin watches. These are the Marvin M107 (in the rectangular case), and the M103 (in the round case). I actually reviewed the M103 here - and it is really a great watch. I wanted to offer either of them because they have same Swiss Valjoux 7750 automatic movement inside, and are very close in price. It is up to the winner watch model he/she prefers. What more can I say? These are two excellent timepieces, with a movement that no watch lover should be without in their collection. The Marvin M107 retails for $1,860, and the Marvin M103 retails for $1,790. I anticipate this being a popular giveaway, so enter below with your best response. To Enter You Must: 1. Comment on this post below with your valid e-mail address where required. In the body of your comment mention your favorite watch

Fellas...HELP! I cant decide and love both but the wife say only ONE. I will be purchasing pre loved. I wear suits to work and Tshirt short kind of guy! I tried both of them on several times and still to hard to decide. Any suggestion on which to choose. Only concern is , has anyone experienced any problems with the 9300 movement? I know there really and no wrong answer here. I can only have one iconic watch. Thanks Fellas!

5208p
Greetings TRF,A few months ago I started a thread with a little review of the Patek Philippe 5235g. In this review I thought that, despite the fact that I do not own this timepiece, I could give you my opinion on a couple of points regarding it. Ever since I did that (and discussed those points with other great members around here) I've had the idea of doing another one on a piece that I consider really special, the Patek Philippe 5208p.Here are some personal observations about this timepiece:- In my very first review I tried to be as critical (without trying to sound pompous or arrogant) as I could about the Patek Philippe regulator. Alas (although I think it is a very good thing) I don't think I can find a bad thing to say about this one. The dial, case, movement and complications are just outstanding and I think this particular watch really helps us to appreciate the brand's quality and its watchmakers' talent: finding a way to make a triple complications watch look that simple is s
Truth in Rolex advertising
Here's a little something to steam Ed's tail (and also the rest of you GMT lovers). The following is a 1973 Rolex ad for the Red Sub 1680, supposedly featuring Thor Heyerdahl and his Ra II expedition. However, the guy in the photo with the sextant is not Thor, it's Capt. Norman Baker, Thor's navigator, and Norman wasn't given a Sub, he was given an engraved GMT 1675 (which he showed to me in March). What gives? Did they have Photoshop back in 1973?
