Talk me in or out of buying Seamaster Day Date
I'm looking at a Seamaster 150m aqua tera 41.5 mm Day-Date with black dial. It seems like a pretty nice watch for everyday wear. Any members here that have this model and like it? Thanks

A day at the Patek Philippe Geneva Salon...
Just returned from my trip from Geneva where I had a fantastic time in the amazing city of Geneva and off course a visit to the Salon where it all started for this unique and amazing brand that we all love..I have to say I was treated like royalty from the moment I walked in, maybe because I was sporting my PP5712 on the wrist which I dont wear on my trips as my vintage GMT usually gets that pleasure.. BUT on a trip to Geneva I had to wear something Patek right?? They had all the pieces from the PP collection but most where samples but my main interest was the World timers and off course my grail the 5131R. It was the first time I tried the piece on my wrist and to be honest I love it even more now as impossible as it is to get. Also tried the new WT the 5930G which now has become my alternative to the 5131R to the point I have put my name down for one.. Its a stunning piece which looks so much nicer in person and feels great on the wrist with its 39.5mm case. None have been delivered

2 Questions about ADs selling to Grays....
disclaimer: I buy/support from both AD and Gray and am simply curious about 2 things. Grays get a few hot models from ADs even while ADs have waiting lists for said hot models.....1) Why would an AD sell to a Gray over a customer?. Moving out non hot models I get, but say Daytonas for example that have waiting lists yet grays have them. (or SS Its in the future)2) If ADs are nervous about selling to a customer who might flip the watch (contracts, etc) why sell to a Gray that will, as is their right, flip the watch?

Spotted - SS Skydweller Waikiki
Black dial. At the AD on Kalakaua Ave in Waikiki. Priced at MSRP plus 4.75% tax. I wasn't really interested, and I thought it looked too big on me. Not interested in flipping. The guy working said they usually don't make it to the display case. He was excited that I noticed and knew what it was. I expect it will be gone soon. Pretty slim pickings for SS otherwise. Two black Explorer IIs looked to be about it other than the usual DJs and OPs.

A Christmas Incoming!
Well, what can I say. This one has been calling my name...ever since I flipped it earlier this year. Not the first time I've flipped this model, but definitely the most painful. Anywho...I did a little shuffling around in the collection and my secret (well, maybe not so secret) Santa Patrick made my Christmas dreams come true. And...since I just had the big 6-0 this month, retired from a second career, and it is well...Christmas, I thought, what better time to make this happen?OK. So in my haste to size it, wrap it and put it under the tree, I forgot to take a pic. Sorry guys. I know how we like pics here. But...I did snap this pic of the aftermath. Hey, better than nothing, right? Check out all the cool stuff Patrick put in his care package. And I promise to share a pic or two when I've opened my present on Christmas Day.
