What if?
Many (albeit not all) of the concerns surrounding the 5270 I've heard lately revolve around the fact that since it is now using an in-house movement, there are overproduction fears. What if they produce the current (3rd) series of the 5270 for 3 years maximum? Would this elevate the watch to the level of the 5970 in a collector's mind?Feedback welcome..
Sea Dweller Dive extension
Did the 16600 Sea Dweller originally come with two dive extensions? One marked with an S in the bracelet, and one with an L in the tool kit?
First Rolex Incoming and AD's stock
Watches have always been a style statement and makes anybody excited, and I would wear all of them with pride as a kid. My first, when I was 6-7, I remember was a cheap quartz(few dollars) with brown leather band gifted to me by mom. But then I wore it out and it finally broke. I didn't knew much about watches and quartz or digital watches were the only thing available. The most famous watch you could buy was Citizen or Casio in the Himalayan Nation.Fast forward some decades, I started looking up watches again and then got hooked on to the mechanical watches' simple way of showing time, using complicated mechanical thing. I did hear about Rolex and would have never imagined to buy one! Then, I saw one on my colleagues wearing a Rolex GMT with black dial and bezel. It was a piece of pe
Sourcing a solid gold oysterbracelet for a ceramic GMT is it possible??
Hey guys long time sense i posted. I got a killer deal off of a close friend on here on a Z serial # green face 18k gmt. Its currently on a rubber b strap. I want to find a solid gold oyster for it, and i dont want to pay rolex 15000 for that bracelet. Can anyone advise do these come out on 2nd hand market or is there an aftermarket solid gold option. Im going to include pics of my watch so its not boring. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
YachtMaster II - Seeking Opinions
I currently only have one Rolex which is the YG DD40. I am thinking of adding a SS sports Rolex. I am looking closely at the Yachtmaster II. Searching the forums, it doesn't appear to be very popular as I can only find a small handful of threads on this. Can existing owners share some pictures and your ownership experience? Also, what do you think of the 2017 version ( with new hands ) compared to the 2015 version?BTW, sharing a very cool pic of YM2 that I found in IG.
