A quick check online for prices of the Casio F-91W reveals that anyone around the world can buy one of these classic digital timepieces for about $10 - $20. Casio has been producing the F-91W digital quartz watches since about 1991 and continues to do so with the original reference F-91W, along with other variations that add on such luxuries as a metal case and bracelet. The basic F-91W comes in a black plastic case with matching strap and blue trim. Why is it that this classic digital tool watch continues to be so popular around the world, and why has it picked up a reputation for being a preferred timepiece by Islamic terrorists? Oris Artix Complication Watch
Oris continues their classy "Complication" watch collection with the Artix. Easy on the eyes, and available with a six-link steel metal bracelet or leather strap. It is a graceful creation, and offers a decent mechanical annual calendar watch (with a symmetrical dial layout) at a reasonable price. With more and more watches like this coming out, I wonder what Oris' new direction in the States is going to be. I say this because Swiss Oris recently fully took over the US division. So we will just wait and see.The Artix Complication looks like it uses a stripped down ETA Valjoux 775 automatic movement in the watch. Though it does not. The 7751 provides these functions (and more), but can be stripped down to this style. Oris instead uses a Sellita SW200 with a module for the annual calendar and moon phase functions. They call the movement the Calibre Oris 915. The style of the layout is in the traditional "triple calendar" look - which is most always appreciated. An interesting point here

Removing an aquanaut rubber strap
Its been my experience that removing an aquanaut rubber bracelet is difficult because in addition to the standard spring bar, there are two anchors perpendicular to the spring bars that fit directly into the case of the watch.Has anyone tried to remove one with a Bergeron 6825 tool? I did a search and saw that some of you used them with success on rolexes, but i think the 5167 lug width is 21 rather than 20. Since they are pliers I was thinking it might work more easily, and by that I mean help me avoid scratching the back of the lugs...I really love the rubber strap, but would like to try a leather strap from time to time without tearing up my watch
