Buying AP online.......how does warranty works
hi i see online retailers selling models of AP watches not available in both boutique and local Authorized Retailers. is there risks buying online? do i still get the same warranty from AP 2+1? or is it buying online i void the AP warranty because the booklet is not stamped and get the retailers warranty in stead.thx for all the advicesi dont know if we are allow to name the online retailers on the forum for open discussion, if its allowed maybe you guys can give me some better advices
Thoughts on FC Diver
I've read a thread few days ago that the FC carbon diver will stop production soon as AP will be using ceramic materials as of 2013. Here's the link : ap.watchprosite/show-foru...ti-833162/s-0/ Is it a right time to invest in a FC diver? Will it appreciate in value over the coming years?
Flightmaster, Question
Greetings everyone. I am looking to add a Flightmaster to my collection. I don't have a lot of Omega knowledge, and honestly, only one watch (speedmaster), but the Flightmaster has intrigued me for a long time and I think I'm finally going to pull the trigger and get one. What I'm confused about, is the difference between the 910 and 911, first and second generation Flightmasters. Specifically, what is the purpose of the register at the 9:00 position in the 910? It shows up to 24, and looks to be a day/night indicator of some kind, is that what it is? Simply showing the current time (coinciding with the regular hour and minute hands of the watch) in military? Or is it an independent time zone indicator? So the watch actually has Three timezones(?). Anybody with knowledge of this I greatly appreciate your help. Thanks,
I need a change! Lange&S?hne or Patek Philippe
CURRENT COLLECTIONNow I need a change! In one month I will become 27 years old and christmas is also not so far. How do you think about Lange & S?hne SAXONIA Ref.:215.026 and Patek Philippe CALATRAVA 5119?Which one would you prefer? Where is the history, cost performance ratio, quality... the best? Please help me to find a decision.
Three days in...
And my first incoming of 2018 is here...Happy New Year TRF! Last week I made an appointment to have my last purchase appraised and needless to say that I felt like a kid in a candy store with a number of cases filled with watches. I spotted something that I liked, asked to try it on and was amazed since I had never seen one in person before. I wasn't planning on purchasing another watch anytime soon since I wanted to get my first PM Rolex later this year. Spent a week thinking about the watch, debating whether to get it or not. I called up earlier today to see if it was still available and it was..so here it is..My 5 digit trifecta...A special thank you to TRF's biggest enabler PLNYC
