Urwerk has finally unveiled its EMC watch after teasing the movement back in May. If you'll recall, the EMC (Electro Mechanical Control) watch is a mechanical timepiece with a uniquely designed electronic module that acts as a rate measuring tool. On top of that, the movement has a fine adjustment screw that allows for you to adjust the rate results of the watch yourself. Confused? In short, Urwerk EMC is a watch with a movement you can fine tune yourself (for accuracy) and comes with a built-in tool that measures how accurate it is. Advice on watch purcahse 5712R, 5980R, 5712R, AP ROO 29540
Hi Guys,I just returned from Zurich and tried a bunch of amazing watches. Here is my short list of favourites:5980/1R75,000 CHF (?51,500)5980R52,700 CHF (?36,000)5712R38,400 CHF (?26,000)- Rose Gold ROO Schumacher72,000 CHF (?49,000)Although I went to a few AD the discounts being offer were horrible so I couldnt do a deal. My favourite watch hands down is the 5980R, but my wife felt that the all gold braclet was too much of a statement and I rhink ahe is right. It also sat outside my budget ao I needes to get one 30% off which would prove very difficult given how new it was. She then made what I think is a good suggestion.By looking at the big price difference between the Chrono on leather strap (5980R) and the moon phase power reserve (5712R), then factoring in a good discount, maybe I should consider two watches. For example the 5712R and the ROO Rose Gold 25940 (older model with round push buttons). This way I have a nice watch to wear with a suit and another casual watch.So may I p

Datejust 41 vs blue two tone submariner
Hi. I am looking at a datejust 41 with the black face and jubilee bracelet in two tone steel and yellow gold. The other watch I'm looking at is the two tone sub with the blue face. I currently have a gmt master 2 all steel and feel the sub is a very similar watch except I love the blue face and two tone bracelet. On the other hand, I love the traditional looking datejust 41 with the jubilee bracelet. Any thoughts? Does anyone have either or both and does the datejust two tone with a black face still work as a casual watch? Thanks.
