Graduation watch
My dad has asked me what watch I would like for my graduation present this year, I figured the best people to ask would be those who know a lot about watches.Originally I was dead torn between a Submariner and a Breitling Emergency Mission, already had the conversation about the radio and 'improper use' with him and a jeweller. But because of the recession, my dad being pretty hard hit as he is self employed, I think I may ask for something a little less expensive and the obvious answer to me is an Omega..omegawatches/gents/se...hrono/22105200.omegawatches/gents/se...23230465101002Both have their merits. The orange is slightly different plus I could buy the orange rubber strap to wear when on holiday or out on the boat. Though I could see other people finding it to be a little offensive and gaudy, maybe.The black is very conservative and the mesh strap is also a little different but looks very classic.Or is there anything else I am missing. For those that ended up brushing the PCLs on the BLNR, where did you get it done? Will an AD do it, or would you need to find a trustworthy local jeweler?Thanks for any help y'all can provide.
