This is actually a very telling tale, and is not at all unique to Maurice Lacroix. Look closely and you get to see exactly what it is like being a brand ambassador for a Swiss watch brand. Here you have outgoing British golfer Justin Rose being courted by Maruice Lacriox to becoming a brand ambassador them. This can mean, among other things, wearing only Maurice Lacroix watches in public, and wearing Maurice Larcroix branded clothing while playing golf. In exchange the brand ambassador gets money, and ideally some watches. In this video Mr. Rose gets at least one watch (the rest might be loaners). Royal Oak 15400 - DSLR Daytime Shots
I got some time today to spare so I whipped out my Nikon DSLR and tripod and started to shoot these. Almost all of my shots of the AP RO15400 that I posted in this forum have been captured with my Galaxy Note mobilephone cam so far. It's surprising how clear and sharp the pictures often turn out to be. Yet, as good as camera-phones have generally improved, it's still not adequate enough to challenge DSLR for really detailed close-up shots or low-lighting shots. Such as this : As a recent watch collector, I see my timepieces as not just mere watches but work of art that I can wear on my wrist, which especially in Haute Holorogie timepieces like Audemars Piguet, they are all finely crafted and meticulously furnished for our enjoyment. This is my 4th album of this watch and the first to use only DSLR. It's shot mostly with my Nikon D5100 at aperture setting f/16 and ISO 1600, with a Nikkor 105mm micro-lens. Montbrillant packaging question
My wife gave me a new Montbrillant Legende LE for Xmas. It was all complete except for the cardboard(?) white wheel (e6b) that usually comes with the documentation. I searched around the net at some that were posted for sale as complete and none included the wheel. Or at least none showed it in any pictures. Do the Montbrillant's not include the wheel? I don't want to make a trip back to the jewelry store if it doesn't come with it.

Wanted to know what you thought about this year's novelties?Went to see what Rolex did and was very disappointed, apart an interesting but not for me Yacht Master, and a new movement nothing good there.Of course the pilot watch is quite special and hard to believe that it's Patek who really made such a watch, the blue dial seems very nice in real life pics, but it was, IMO, stupid to make it in WG, for me such a watch needs to be SS. Hoping to get some Datejust II questions answered
I currently have a stainless DJ 36 on a jubilee, and wanted to upgrade to something a bit bigger. I started looking into the larger styles, and really fell in love with the DJ on the left. As I was researching, I see people talking about the DJ II and the DJ 41, as if they're different models, but I thought that the DJ II pictured is the 41? I think there's something I'm missing or am not understanding lol.Also, I was wondering if anyone knew what the roman numerals are called when they're outlined in gold (pictured on the right) as opposed to the solid gold numerals (on the left)? Could someone explain why there's a bar at the 9 o'clock marker on the one one the right, and why it isn't on the left? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure I understand everything before I buy. Thanks guys.
