15300 Blue dial, no papers
Hi all,I am looking to sell or part ex a stainless AP Royal Oak 15300 blue dial, with the slight catch of having no papers. I have the box and purchase receipt, and even the booklets, but no original papers. How much of a hit should I be expecting on the price just so I can brace myself? Many thanks!
Govberg asking US$37.5k for LNIB Blue 5711. What is going on?!
I just noticed this and, honestly, can't believe the asking price. This watch does not have a Tiffany dial, and even if it did, isn't this price insane?! Has anybody seen a higher asking price for a second hand 5711?Check it out:https://.govbergwatches/shop/...us-57111a-010/
Mystery white dial
Lots of posts on the magic of the blue dial Nautilus, and how the light transforms it. Let me put in a good word for the white dial as well, it really does change a lot as well depending on the ligthing. Sometimes it looks pure white, other times more creamy. And last night, sitting and enjoying a cognac, it looks almost pure steely.
Gold Daytona owners ... Lend me your ears!
I'm intrigued by the PM Daytonas as the prices of SS climbs and the PM price stays relatively static. My question, for you owners, if you bought one of the models on leather (116519 or 116518) do you regret not getting a bracelet model? Thanks
Some memory help please
While I have been a Rolex fan most of my adult life I have not followed them closely until the last few years. Heck I had never even heard of basel world. With that said, what year did Rolex go crazy? By that I mean the release of the jewel encrusted animal prints, the flowered dials and the like? Or did this happen over a few years?
