Thinking of A.P. Advice Please
For first AP thinking of a 4100SA. Have Rolex, Omega, Panerai, Piaget, JLC (1947), Hamilton (1930), Concord (1952), Seiko owner. Not trying too compare, apples vs oranges. Want opinions on AP, plus this model. Thanks.

Let's Tear The Back Off A Speedy !!!
Tired of looking at the insides of Rolexes...Let's take a look at what makes the Speedy tick..First, of course, we need some tools:....And, of course, a Speedy...And, something for the Case-back. I like L-G tools...Made in the USA. This L-G CWR-600, Waterproof Case Wrench should do the job.. The Speedy back has 6 slots, so I have it set to just use the two opposing positions with the notch sockets. If it had an odd number of slots or holes I would use all three sockets:First step is to remove the bracelet to make it easier to work with:The watch head needs to be secure to avoid slipping etc., so we clamp it up:Carefully using the LG Case Tool, we crack it a bit, ensure no crud is under the case lip, clean things a bit, then voila, we pop off the cover:The Speedy also has an inner cover that sits over the movement:Inside we find one of my favorite movements, the Lemania 1861... 5167 or FP Journe Chronometre Bleu?
I have a 5712A, no date Sub and expect to add a white DaytonaC soon. Looking to add a 4th piece and deciding between Chronomtre Bleu and 5167A. Price is close enough that it isn’t a big factor, although 5167 is cheaper. I am led to believe I could get either watch from AD within a few months.I like both watches a lot, but probably can only afford to add one at this time.Thoughts on which one to choose considering the other watches in my collection?

i got two offers for a 5524 today, from two ADs in central europe, at list price. both were offering package deals and wanted me to buy another watch as well. has patek stepped up the production of the 5524 now?btw, the regulator 5535 is also readily available in some stores in europe, even in the patek salon in paris.
