APSC Clearwater Service
On January 18th, my CE44 crown fell out while trying to adjust the time. I called APSC Clearwater right away. I explained to Stacy that I was leaving out of the country and needed to get the watch to them before I left. She got me a return package to me the next business day. I shipped the watch out on January 22nd and was off to Europe. I got an email on January 31st letting know that the watch would be repaired under warranty and could take 4 weeks to complete.I figured that is pretty standard and went about my vacation. To my surprise, I get an email from APSC on Feb 8th letting my me know the repair was finished. I arranged for shipping for this coming Tuesday.I was pretty impressed at how quickly they turned around the repair. Kudos to Stacy and the APSC team!
What am I missing? 15400 vs. 15202
I'm looking to get one of the aforementioned pieces next to add to my collection. I love the navy dial on what looks to be the same on both pieces, but I'm a bit puzzled...What's the difference between the two? I get that one is 41mm vs. 39mm and the 15202 is nicknamed the Jumbo and Ultrathin, however I'm not seeing much difference at all. When comparing the 15202's $20k+ price and the 15400's $11-15k price (depending upon color dial), I only have one question....What gives? Hopefully I'm really missing a key detail that values the anniv much higher...
My omega obsession
A part of the omega collection. I'm sick...
Surprising Friday incoming...
I put my name down for this a while back and the call on Thursday afternoon took me a little by surprise. Still, I wasn't going to let that get in the way so in I went today to pick it up.As always my AD rocked it and provided the touch paper for the evening - a bottle of decent champs and, even more awesomely, a NOS Patek branded Graf Von Faber Castel pen which is gorgeous.
If you had 2k laying around what watch would you buy
Need some advice for a possible next purchase. So I have been content being a one watch guy, but I would love having one more. Some things in life led me to that and no regrets could not be happier. Don't get me wrong love my Sub C date, but sometimes I get the itch for another fine piece. I had a good year at work and got a very nice bonus. After putting some in saving, adding to kids college funds etc I have a little that I could possibly play with. A lot of you guys know tons about watches and one reason I love this forum. If you had 2k what would you buy? Here are some parameters.White or blue dial Looks good on a brown or blue strap. I could possibly bump up to 2500 but ideal would like to be 1500-1700 especially preowned and need some cash for a service etc. I have always liked the Omega Aqua Terra's and some models might fall into my price range. Maybe a preowned Tudor? What else is out there? My biggest fear is trying to get something in that price range that is good q
