Inside The Manufacture: A Look At Piaget's Geneva Headquarters
A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of visiting Piaget's headquarters on the outskirts of Geneva. While Piaget's movements are still made out in La Côte-aux-Fées, all other operations from design to casing to bracelet making to gem setting are done right here. Today we bring you a tour in photographs through this amazing facility. Roll-over each photograph for a brief description of what you are seeing. Enjoy! 2 OF 25 Entering Piaget's modern Geneva headquarters 3 OF 25 Sketch of the Polo 45 next to a 3D model of the same watch 4 OF 25 Specialized, in-house tools for shaping cases 5 OF 25 Raw bars and rods of various types of gold, used to produce case and bracelet components 6 OF 25 A single bracelet link projected onto a screen for tolerance inspection 7 OF 25 CNC machines can work a bracelet link on 5 axes, while operations on a 6th axis must be completed by hand 8 OF 25 Tool
DSOTM- Vintage
Picked this baby up prior to Christmas. My first Speedmaster of any kind in over 6 years. Amazed at the timekeeping so far, +.33 sec/per day. And it's beautiful too!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hulk is looking too Hulkish!?!
I've had an interesting turn of events. I've always considered myself a 6-digit guy . Many years ago, my first Professional model was a 16610 and I never really bonded with it. It was sold after a few months. Since then I had always gone for 6-digit models and really loved the look and feel. Over the course of the last few months I've acquired a 16610LV and just a few days ago a 16710 and I think I'm starting to really appreciate the smaller case and less blingy features. I've always loved the Hulk. That green sunburst dial is amazing. But since spending more time with my 5-digits I'm beginning to think the hulk is a little too Hulky (lol). I decided to take the LVc with me on our vacation this week and really put it to the test. I have no intention of selling it but I'm finding my new perspective interesting and I'm hoping to rekindle my love for this awesome watch. My question is how many of you have also gone back and forth between 5 and 6 digit love? What side of the coin did you
