The perpetual calendar complication has been a fascinating and useful feature on high-end watches for quite sometime. Not exactly rolex related, but if this sale goes through, the proceeds will be intended for my Grail WG sub. Bought the AP ROC black dial brand new in Sept 2014 for SGD 23,750. That's about USD 17,929 by today's exchange rate. It's a beautiful piece, but I realised I haven been wearing much in comparison to my blnr and lvc. Blnr gets most wrist time.Have an offer from a potential buyer at SGD 20,500 which is about USD15,476. And I'll prob either top up for the balance for the WG sub, or sell the LVC for a 2 or 3 rolex collection. Is this depreciation on the AP acceptable considering that the condition is still mint? Or shd I wait out for a better offer? Can't trade this at the dealers cos their price is even lower. Thanks guys

Alright guys since James Bond started to wear the Omega Seamaster in Goldeneye I have always wanted that watch. I remember back in 97 the Automatic version was in the $1,500-2,000 range. Now its up to $3,800, inflation sucks!!I work at American Airlines as a Supervisor, very happy with my job absolutely love it. I'm sure most of you have read the news that we filed for Ch11. However, I assure you American is not going anywhere. Just like Delta, United, US Airways (twice), Continental (three times) they have all filed and emerged stronger. (Not gonna get into the pension losses and all that jazz from all the airlines ) Unlike many here who are Doctors, lawyers, etc. I do not earn that high of an income, however I do live very comfortably. Glidelock scratches?
Hey guys, first post here, just got myself a brand new SD4K and am very much enjoying it. But im just wondering whether its normal for the side of this end link to get scratched by the clasp whenever i adjust the glidlock? I know its fairly normal for links that are covered by the clasp to get scratched on the side (in fact already got some despite owning the watch for a day or so), but just not sure whether its normal for the glidelock end link to do so (seems a bit of a design flaw if taking it out to adjust cause scratches) Thanks everyone!
