Patek Philippe Calatrava Pilot Travel Time Ref. 5524 Watch
What you are looking at here is the new Patek Philippe Calatrava Pilot Travel Time Ref. 5524 introduced at Baselworld 2015. Yes, it is an unmistakably pilot-style watch from Patek Philippe. Your eyes are not kidding you.Patek Philippe has got to be one of the most unpredictable?brands in recent times. Most recently, the company announced that it would revise its prices and that resulted in most regions receiving price cuts. Although this is not the first time Patek Philippe has done so, it comes at a time when the Swiss Franc has appreciated significantly and other powerhouses like Rolex and Audemars Piguet have increased their prices. And at Baselworld 2014 last year, it released a high-complication steel watch, the Annual Calendar Chronograph Ref. 5960 (hands-on). Unless they go to a watch making school that is.Technical Director and watchmaker Pim Koeslag is Dutch, and so is Peter Stas, who is the founder of Frederique Constant (with his wife Aletta). The manufacture which also houses sister brand Alpina is nestled (quite literally in the middle) of several famous manufactures in Geneva including Piaget, Vacheron Constantin, Rolex, and Patek Philippe. Pim started working with Peter when Frederique Constant was getting serious about making in-hous

Spotted at Work!
Crazy little hobby of ours. I was paying for lunch today when I noticed an awesome vintage Pepsi GMT on Jubilee on the wrist of the person next to me. Told him sweet watch. He thanked me and said it was his grandfather's. How cool is that? Looking forward to passing my Sub on to my future child one day. Sorry for the bad pic! Just wanted to snap something quick as we were both taking our orders to go.Josh
