Casio Raises The Bar Again With Tough Recalibrating Radio Controlled Movement Using LED Precision System
Never say that there is something wrong with the watches coming from Japan. There may be a ton of them, lots of them may be ugly or forgettable, but most of today's useful watch innovation is coming from the land of the rising sun, not Europe. While the Swiss and Germans are focused on perfecting the past, the Japanese are hard at work figuring out the next way to not only improve, but lower the cost of technically superior watches. While the Japanese cannot beat the Europeans when it comes to style, grace, and refinement, they do beat them when it comes to innovation. And trust me, the European watch makers are always taking a close look at what new things are coming out of Japan, even if it does not appear as such. For instance, Casio was one of the first to use DLC (diamond like carbon) coating on their MR-G line of watches. The ultra hard shiny compound found its way on super rugged Casio watches. 1st AP journey (pic heavy)
Decided to get my first AP and this forum was an immense help to me in terms of inspiration, drool-worthy pics, and heavy-handed enablement. A lot of research and deliberation went into my decision, and I wanted to share some pictures during my journey across 1 boutique and a few ADs. I tried this on a whim, not really thinking it'd fit me. Numerous people had told me I'd look silly wearing it with a blazer/suit. The timepiece looks like a high-tech machine but the rubber strap gives it casual, sporty look. The light weight of the titanium was instantly well received, and the strap felt comfy enough to handle all future desk diving it would potentially endure. In addition, I was ab

Just took off my Patek....
...and put on my DSSD to do some moving/yard work....As soon as the DSSD touched my wrist i broke out laughing how heavy and big this is compared to 5167. Ill be used to it in an hour or two but its amazing the difference...or amazing how light and thin the 5167 is!
Hulk, now or wait for Basel?
My AD just called me that a Hulk is coming and I can take it if I want. Wonder if I should take the offer or wait for 1 more week. Hulk is also on my list following a Daytona C. Your opinions please.
