SwissKubiK Watch Winder Review
Veterans of the watch industry know that automatic watch winders are a relatively new addition to the horological enthusiast's world. Such an odd thing really. What did the last several decades of collectors do when they had large collections of automatic winding mechanical watches? I really don't know. In my ongoing coverage of watch winders, I seek to find the perfect winder for you. Each model and brand has something unique to offer, and will be right for many people. Personally, I have a growing collection of all sorts of winders. No winder is perfect, and the right one will depend on where you store watch, how large your wrists are, and of course your budget. For you right here is a review of the very nice SwissKubiK. It is a very modern and well designed watch winder that for some will be the world's most perfect winder.SwissKubiK watch winders are all perfect squares (10cm x 10cm) for the single winders. Though the company does make units that are meant to wind multiple watches.

I think that just posting the images of this special one-off watch probably says enough. What else can I say? An intensely decorated movement made to look like an underwater scene. Not just that, but the actually movement itself is made to look like the sea floor. Simply amazing. The best part is that this is not just some concept or a piece of art. This will be placed in a real working watch. But probably just one. This movement is called the ImmenSEAty (clever right) and was created by young watchmaker Gabriel Salgado de Arce. This watch was part of a project at the Confrerie Horlogere, which is a new arm of BNB Concept. I don't know a lot about this new part of BNB Concept. Their website is still new and wasn't totally live the last time I checked. It has something to do with young watchmakers, though the video below tells you more. Help Panerai newbie with model selection
Ok I am looking for a watch that I can jump in my pool with and not worry too much about it.The model I am looking at is like this watch .ebay/itm/Panerai-Lumi...item43cbee034aOk so can someone explain this model to me. What I mean is Panerai has so many models your head can spin. 120 means?? Good inner workings??Basically if you can tell me if this model is worthwhile or to look at something else. I don't want to wind up with the Panerai that nobody wants, thinking of resale.How would the 40mm wear compare to say a Sub?I appreciate the help!Thanks
