argh! Got wrong link for my Jumbo! the wait continues!
As some of you saw earlier this week it was a long day Wednesday waiting for fedex to arrive with my new jumbo. It barely fit so ordered an extra link...managed to order direct from Clearwater just before cutoff and they close for rest of year. What luck! Or so I thought.Arrives today and it doesn't fit in the bracelet. Son of a ... So much for wearing over the holidays since I now have to wait until January 5th to address it Anyway thanks for reading my whining. Omega Trade Question?
I intend to buy two watches in the near future: a Rolex Explorer II or GMTIIc (not sure which of the two, as I love both and see pros and cons to both) and the new PO GMT (because I like POs and find the 43.5 mm watch is the best size available, and looks great with the darker bezel). On the other hand, since I'll be getting a Rolex 4-hander, a GMT PO may be overkill. Which takes me to today: I am selling a mint 1-year old Breitling Chronomat 44, with full set and warranty, to fund these watch purchases. Not having the easiest time selling it, despite the tremendous value.I am offered a straight trade for a LNIB, never-worn Omega Planet Ocean 42 mm. I am seeking your advice as to the values of the watches in that trade. MSRP on the Breitling (with in-house B01 movement) is $8960. To my knowledge, it's difficult to get a warrantied/full set in-house Breitling for much less than 25% discount. (Grey watches sell for less.) I don't think it can be bought new with full papers and warranty fo

particular Seamaster 300 ref. 165,024
What do you think of this particular Seamaster 300 ref. 165,024? The particularity of this watch, as you can see from the photos, is to be equipped with the hands of the ref. 14755 to have the cuff 7912 to 1 / 64 - Final 16 and the bottom shows the ref. 165024-63 S.C., the movement is a Cal. 552 - n. 20.308.XXX. In 2006 I wrote to Omega, which he said sent a bank that archival records that was produced with that bracelet, the watch was produced on 23/3/1964and the general indication of the shipment of this clock in Italy . Regarding the types of hands I was told by e-mail from that statement is archived on this particular set of clocks were mounted various types of hands. By consulting various forums on the Internet and viewing hundreds of images of catalogs in every language, I found only two pictures of a catalog of 1964 Omega printed and sent to Italy on .segnatempo.it; .vetroplastica.it on and on . orologiepassioni.net. Do you know if there are other catalogs of 1964 in other lang
