Royal Oak as daily and only watch?
What are you opinions on the Royal Oak for an everyday/only watch? I've heard the bezel is prone to scratches. Do any of you wear your RO everyday or is this a special occasion type watch? I'm thinking about swapping out my sub for a 15450 within the next month or so.
my AP returns
I got my AP 6months ago and unknowingly used it on a night out with a huge group where i got quite a few scratches on the bezel and bracelet... i couldnt get over the fact because they werent normal wear and tear scratches but rather quite a lot which happened due to bumps and contacts at a party.. which made me take a decision to send it to AP after 2 weeks of purchase for restoring back to original and change of new bezel..i paid a bomb but im so happy to have it back.. here are some wrist shots..btw, it didnt return with a travel case from AP when i picked it up from my AD in Hong Kong and i asked them but they said it never came with any.. i verified based on documents that came with it that it truly went to AP clear water.. any thoughts on that..?

Hi Guys & Gals : Absolutely love this forum. You learn something new everyday. This is my lesson for the week. Loved how the carbon GP strap looked on the 44MM RG. So here is mine. Looks like it was made for it IMHO. Wdayya guys think ?Would love to see more pics of mods, strap changes etc. TC,SamSent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 4

Full service on a 2254.50
Hello, everyone!I am in the process of buying a used 2254.50, the watch is in excelent condition, with the bracelet having been refinished recently to look like new. However, the warraty card is dated July 2004 and the service history is unknown, so I assume it would be advisable to have a full service of the watch after purchase, since it is a 9 year old piece and it seems to be running a bit slow. Having that in mind, how much should I expect to pay for a full service/overhaul of the watch from an independant watchmaker? (I will be in the US for about a week only, so I don't have time to send the watch to Omega).I am very excited about this purchase, it is such an iconic watch! I was torn between this piece and a Seamaster 300, but looked hard at both and decided on the 2254.Thanks in advance!
