The Porsche Club of America, which is more than 100 000 members, but which is also the largest club of its kind has worked closely with Tag Heuer to make this limited edition Monaco based watch. Why they did not work with Porsche Design Eterna, I do not know. Seems that it would have been just a little bit more sense. Although this pattern of special colour on the Monaco is enough cherry. As the cherry, with its mainly black tones with a racing stripe red black and white trim.

Build your own AP ROO??
Seeing all the feedback on the novelties from SIHH and also a lot of the comments in the past, may I recommend to AP (if they read this), the following:I think AP should launch a custom watch configurator system - clients can specify all the materials/combo they want from a standard list; they could charge a decent premium for this - say 25-30% and I am sure there would be good take up. Variables:1. Watch case material2. Bezel material3. Dial style, flat or tapisserie4. Numerals - sticks or numbers5. Dial colour6. Numerals/sticks colour.7. Crown and pusher materials.8. Strap material9. Buckle or deployment.Of course one could go further, but the above would give you almost unlimited combinations, and they would have to set up an AP Bespoke department or similar, charge a premium of course and throw in some bells and whistles along with it, along the lines of creating a ROO VIP club effect.You read it here first!

Black Bay 32 (new), 36, & 41 come in BLUE!
While I'm absolutely NOT shocked at the additions of the Black Bay variations, since they seem to be the popular kids on the block, I'm thrilled they added blue to the lineup of the 32 (new this year), 36 & 41. I tried on the 36mm in black & thought it was quite comfortable. At the time I thought, oh too bad it didn't come in blue. LOL Got my wish! Now I just hope I like this blue color! I didn't like the blue on the Style, was too dark, almost black in some lighting. So.. for someone who wants a blue dial watch & doesn't want to spend that much on it, it's a definite possibility. It's sporty, it's casual, no bezel so can be dressed up, it's a nice watch for the money. PS... The hands aren't that prominent when you have the watch on. LOL That's the ONLY thing I would want changed. If I don't like the blue, I have back up options.
