Patek 5905P
Hi,I've been exploring Pateks lately and have come across the 5905P. For those who don't know it; it's an annual calendar and a 60 minutes chronograph in platinum:I think it's a beauty but then to acquire it I need to flip the 15407ST and the panda ROO as I've decided not to spend any cash on watches in 2017. Not sure what to do but Patek bug has bitten me. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure that I'll regret the trade down the road. The 15407 is a beauty. Thoughts?
Costco selling Gold and SS Chronomat 41
I saw a chronomat 41 in rose gold and SS at local costco for a discount price of $5.5k. The list price is about $13,100. This is the discontinued model. What do you guys think of this watch as a whole and then at the price point it's being sold at Costco. Also what's your take on buying it at Costco? thanks.
Omega seamster vs sub
I have to say I did love my no date sub before flipping for a Daytona . But this omega I have enjoyed more than I did the sub.
Explorer II Polar discount?
I made a stop at an AD and was looking at an Explorer II Polar watch. I had never been at the store before. Without asking, I was offered a 12% discount. Is this a common discount for Explorer II's?
Rolex Spotting
We were on a short flight from Panama City, Florida to Atlanta, Georgia yesterday. In our section of the plane, of about 6 rows, I spotted 1 yellow gold men's DayDate, 1 ladies stainless DateJust, 1 Daytona, 1 ladies yellow gold DayDate (my wife's), and my BLNR.I don't think I've ever seen that many Rolex outside an AD before.
