Greco Hexagonal Nut Watch For True Gear Heads
Watch industry supplier turned watchmaker Stephane Greco has introduced what I believe is his first publicly available watch, with the new and rather clever Greco Hexagonal Nut watch, as part of his Les Temps Modernes family of timepieces. The name of the watch is rather straight-forward, as the case is actually a titanium reproduction of an actual industrial nut - that is a hexagon. The two Les Temps Modernes launch models are the references LTM-18t and the LTM-04t.There are a few versions of the watch, with the most interesting having matching hexagonal nut hour markers and (fitting) wrench-style hands. It all looks a bit silly until you realize that it actually aesthetically works. Greco has produced a few timepieces in the past that he never went public with and only sold to close colleagues. Though, the last time we spoke a few years ago, he did mention that his "brand" was going to be a bit more visible soon. Yes, in the Swiss watch world, 1.5 years later is "soon."Stephane Greco

Hamilton Khaki Takeoff Review
Every year, Hamilton releases one wild, limited edition watch to generate buzz, show what they can do and, I honestly think, to have some fun. Last year's Face 2 Face is a good example of the latter. Not really a watch (or watches, to be correct) that I imagine anyone would wear, but a great conversation piece for the brand. The year before that, they made their great hand wound Khaki Navy Marine, which came with a gimbaled deck box. We reviewed the open edition of that, the Khaki Navy Pioneer Automatic, which is still one of our favorites from the brand.Last Basel, they announced the Khaki Takeoff Automatic Chronograph, which when I, and I think most others, first saw, really got our attention. 5712 - anyone do rubber on ss model?
Hi all-I currently own a 5167 on rubber. Am thinking of selling to fund a ss 5712. I know the 5712g and 5712r models come are delivered on leather but come with an oem rubber alternate. I don't believe the ss model comes with additional rubber strap and is just delivered with bracelet. I know the nautilus bracelet on ss model is great but have any of you guys who have ss model bought the rubber one and put it on your ss model?If so, would be interested to see how it looks.Thanks
