15400 vs Day-Date [Picture]
My 15400 is a gigant compared to my Day-Date Is bigger better? I love both. And for people who say the Royal Oak in steel is a scratch magnet, try wearing gold daily...
My daughter's first watch
So while in Vegas this past week we decided that it was time for my 15 month old daughter to get her first watch :D!Her grandparents were kind enough to pay for her very first watch... a Flik Flak .She's a natural WIS though, always trying to get her mom's watch and when she does get it she knows how to put it on her own wrist... makes WIS daddy proud. Her first wrist shot and first group shot,
Speedy - Can I ask a possible dumb question?
Ok, so new to Omegas - but the Speedmaster has caught my interest because of it's rich moon history. I can see that some are manual, and some are automatic wind. BUT my question is, and possibly a REALLY DUMB ONE - is the large second hand ONLY used for tachometer purposes????? In other words, unless you're using the tach function this hand ALWAYS stays at the 12 position. Correct?
36mm too small for 7.25 wrist?
What does the forum think? I personally prefer the 36mm DJ and DD over their 40mm counter parts. As stated I've got a 7.25 inch wrist, bigger guy but just prefer the classic case sizes in these two references. I've tried to like the DD40 and DJ 41 but for some reason keep coming back to 36mm pieces. I guess I'm just old fashioned. So what does everyone think, is 36mm too small for me? Not that I'd stop wearing my 36mm pieces either way lol. Just curious what the forums thoughts are with the bigger is better trend.
I LOVE this feeling.
Guys, I am super excited to meet my new baby tomorrow (according to Dr. Patrick, aka OCROLEXGUY, the baby will be delivered tomorrow afternoon. This baby has been on my list for a long time. Couple years back, an unfortunate event happened to me personally and I had to let go all of my watches. Two years ago, not Lady Luck, but her other cousin Mr. Bad Luck, visited us right on Thanksgiving night. We got robbed at gun points right in our house, right when I put my 7 year old Patrick to bed. All were gone. I have never complained or given up. My wife and I worked tirelessly to care for the children and try to save up to buy back the watches I love so much. Piece by piece, they started to come home. First the GMTIIc, next was the Yacht-Master (for the man that judged my character based on my misspelled of Yacht-Master and for how I did not post enough on this forum ) then the new blue Datejust 41mm, and tomorrow.......my wife and I will welcome our newest baby: Random serial Explorer II
