Giveaway: Reactor Gamma Titanium Watch
A great watch that you might miss hearing about is the Reactor Gamma. Probably the strongest piece in the American brand's collection, the Gamma is now available in full titanium with the brand's Never Dark (ND) technology. At 45.5mm wide, the case wears comfortably and is 50% lighter than its steel counterpart. It is available with a black or red dial, that has traditional luminant as well as tritium gas tubes on the dial (which is the ND tech).Inside the watch is a Japanese quartz movement with a 10 year battery. The unique styling of the watch is hard to miss, with a design that does in fact grow on you rather quickly. Durable, the Gamma Ti is water resistant to 300 meters, and is easy to read thanks for a healthy amount of AR coating on the mineral crystal. Retail price is $550 on the titanium bracelet, and $525 on a rubber strap. If you win the giveaway, you can choose what Reactor Gamma Ti model you'd like. Living with Royal Oak
Hi allI've read lots of posts on servicing 'shocks' and the more fragile nature (compared to Rolex) of a Royal Oak, despite it being pitched as a Sports watch.I'd be really interested to hear from you guys about your experiences in terms of wearing a Royal Oak as an every day watch, in terms of general bumps and bruises and the follow on servicing.I'm planning on having one primarily for work (and then a Nautilus for special occasions only) and keeping my Rolex for bashing around on a daily basis, but keen to see if anyone has tried the Royal Oak as their main daily wearer?
Is it possible to add an officer's caseback to the Patek 5127g?
Hi everyoneI have an odd question. As many of you know, Patek released an amazingly cool 5227 this year at the Basel featuring the sublime officer's caseback which covers the back of the 5227.Earlier this year I was gifted a 5127 to commemorate a special occasion but looking at the officer's caseback, it would be perfect for light engraving inside.Do you guys think it will be possible to add it to my watch?
Has anyone seen the new Datejust 36 with New Jubilee?
Has anyone seen or taken a picture of a new DJ36 on the new Jubilee bracelet with Folding Osyterclasp??Probably because of my miserable searching capability, but the closest picture I could get was the attached image....Can anyone please share a photo of the New DJ36 with new Jubilee band??
Which watch would you pair with an Explorer 1?
I recently purchased a new 214270 Explorer 1. They AD offered me a great deal if I bought two watches at once, and I ended up putting a deposit on a No Date Sub 114060. I'm having a little buyers remorse as I've done very little research on the 114060, and was hoping for some assistance from the Rolex experts. Question:If you were to pair the Explorer 1 with another Rolex watch, which would it be?Some info about me:I'm 34 years oldMy wrists are about 6.5 -6.75 I never wear a suit (work-button up shirt and slacks, home-jeans with T-shirt/polo)I also own a Seiko Sarx033 and Oris AquisMy budget is flexible but around $8-9k. No PMs or Daytona's, etc.
