Romain Jerome Limited Editions Mark 100-Year Anniversary of the Titanic
One hundred years ago this month, the RMS Titanic set off on its legendary, ill-fated voyage across the Atlantic. And while moviegoers across the world file into theaters this week to view the 3-D re-release of James Cameron’s 1997 smash-hit film Titanic, which dramatically portrays the events on that legendary vessel in April 1912, Swiss watchmaker Romain Jerome offers timepiece aficionados an opportunity to make a more personal connection with one of the 20th Century’s greatest milestones, with two limited-edition anniversary wristwatches commemorating it.The two new models, each limited to 100 pieces, are the Steampunk Auto 100th Anniversary and Steampunk Chrono 100th Anniversary. Hello new to the forum. I just purchased a 15400 from AD and I'm wondering when the date changes and how long it takes to completely change to the next day? Also any opinions regarding reliability of AP compared to Rolex Thank you.
Is it worth it to buy a Quartz Omega?
are battery changes expensive on omegas?Would it be like buying a trash car and putting expensive rims on it?what you guys think?

Heading to Tokyo next month for a vintage rolex
Hi guys, I am heading to Tokyo next month for holiday. I am in search of a vintage 5513 or 1675 - would love to get one from Japan. I have a couple of questions:1. How are the prices like in Japan now compared to the rest of the world? I have been looking at some websites of AD/Grey dealers online in Tokyo, and the prices seem much higher than the average. For example, a good condition 5513 can go for 14k USD.2. Does anyone have any good recommendations of vintage rolex shops to visit? Will be staying in Shinjuku area, but definitely will be visiting Ginza, Shibuya, etc.Would also love any general tips/advice from you guys. Thanks :)
