Maurice Lacroix Roger Federer Edition Watches
The other two watches inthe collection reflect the different sides of Federer. The Miros Chronograph is sporty and has a crown in the shape ofa tennis ball and a caseback decorated with a tennis ball design and Federer’s signature in red on the back. The thirdwatch, my personal favorite is the Pontos Small Seconds edition. It has the Roger Federer name on the dial and thesignature of the Swiss tennis star on the crystal caseback. It is the most elegant and understated of thethree.
Xmas present
No Omegas for me this Xmas, but did pick up a nice 36mm Railmaster for mum...
Flightmaster, Question
Greetings everyone. I am looking to add a Flightmaster to my collection. I don't have a lot of Omega knowledge, and honestly, only one watch (speedmaster), but the Flightmaster has intrigued me for a long time and I think I'm finally going to pull the trigger and get one. What I'm confused about, is the difference between the 910 and 911, first and second generation Flightmasters. Specifically, what is the purpose of the register at the 9:00 position in the 910? It shows up to 24, and looks to be a day/night indicator of some kind, is that what it is? Simply showing the current time (coinciding with the regular hour and minute hands of the watch) in military? Or is it an independent time zone indicator? So the watch actually has Three timezones(?). Anybody with knowledge of this I greatly appreciate your help. Thanks,
Expendables 1 & 2
Hi Folks,I just watched Expendables 1 and starting Part 2 with wife.Good fun, old school actors and a lot of Panerai watches. Ideal entertainment for 40 something Panerai WIS like me after long week in the office.Enjoy weekend folks!
Day-Date for less than 18K?
So I've had my GMT for a little less than a month and I'm already thinking about what watch will be joining it in the next few years. My personal grail is a yellow gold Day-Date, something like my grandfather's 1803 but a newer reference. My question is, can you get a modern (e.g. post-2000) Day-Date for less than 18K? And, similarly, is there much difference between a 118238 and a 228238 in terms of the movement? Thanks.
