Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Gravity Watch
Besides their well known Pontos line,?Maurice Lacroix has a great number of interesting watches in their Masterpiece line.?We previously covered the Masterpiece Roue Carre Seconde watch a few years ago which has square and cloverleaf gears indicating the seconds. For 2014, The Masterpiece collection gets a model known as the Gravity which is a uniquely appealing piece from the brand.Maurice Lacroix has extended their haute horologerie "Masterpiece" line with the "Masterpiece? Gravity" which features a large balance wheel on the dial as part of an in-house made movement. According to Maurice Lacroix, this is the first watch equipped with an oscillator assortment (balance roller, lever and escapement wheel) entirely made of silicon, which has a lighter weight than metal and no need for lubrication. What's not to like with an escapement that promises greater accuracy, less maintenance, and more resistance to magnetic fields? Tudor North Flag - Flop?
Is it safe to Tudor North Flag is not a popular model? Whenever Tudor has a recent release from Black Bay Red, Black Bay Blue, Pelagos - Black and Blue and now Black Bay Black.. we seen too much excitement over it and lot of incoming threads. With the recent release of BBB, Tudor has outdone itself and the numerous incoming threads itself shows the story that its going to be very successful model. So, after the relaunch of Tudor - all the models (BBB, Pelagos, Heritage Chrono and Chronograph) are sold to an extent but I don't see that happening with North Flag. It is difficult to prefer it even in Tudor brand alone and then it has to compete with similar priced watches (lower end Omega, etc) and its going to be a difficult battle to win. So, what do you guys this? Will North Flag will be successful? Or will eventually will be stopped after few years of production?
Is there a trick to getting the case back gasket on a Sea Dweller to seat...?
Long story short I have my 11660 Sea Dweller open on my desk. I fixed what I needed to fix, but now I am stuck with trying to put the case back back on. It seems like the gasket likes to just pop itself up every time I press it into its little seat. Is there a trick to getting this thing to stay, or does it just seal itself when you tighten the case back?
