Whats with all the Seamaster 300's from Japan on Ebay???
I am in the market for a 2254.50. had one I bought new but ended up giving it to a good friend how admired it greatly but could never afford to own one. Saw one in the wold the other day and was reminded what a great watch it is and now I want another...Not many in the classifieds here so I looked on ebay... 90% are from japan. Are they fakes? Can they be trusted? Why so many there?
5107G arrived/Question on box
After a few weeks wait, I finally took delivery of my 5107G. I'm pretty happy with it and it now joins my Nautilus in my small collection. I have a question about the box it came with though. It did not come with the big wooden box that my Nautilus came with. Instead it came in a small, thin box along with the papers. See photoDid this reference always come in this type of box? The watch was originally purchased in 2002. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
5070p
Patek made many nice watches the last decades ... but if you ask me, nothings comes even close to the 5070.And in this case the 5070PTested a new camera / lens yesterdayLooking at the pics I once again realized how perfect this watch is :-)BTW, one of the days or weeks I ll make a post with every 5070 :-) I'll see some friend watch collectors and not so long ago somebody bought the GThis makes it possible to photograph the complete set :-)
All of a sudden all these Patek Problem Posts
OK I will call these PPPs.. but in the last 24 or 48 hours seems like a lot of reports of Patek failures or problems.. Seems like a new pattern. What is happening here.. Just a chance set of issues at the same time.. ?
Trip to the AD Today
Went to my local AD today to see the Blusey in person. Unfortunately they just sold it a couple days earlier but I was presently surprised at how much inventory they had. Submariner with and without date, black GMT, Air-King. They'd just gotten in a steel Daytona but that was long gone, as well as a Sea-Dweller.As usual I went to see one watch and was blown away by another. The TT Daytona and the DSSD were amazing in person. Here's some pics!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
