A Cartier First: the Tortue Perpetual Calendar
At first glance, the word “legible” may not spring to mind, but take a closer look. The new Tortue Perpetual Calendar achieves a design coup: several elements, including an openwork dial, combine to create a rich, complex mechanical tapestry, yet each of the indications is easily read. As the first automatic perpetual calendar from Cartier, this watch melds the brand’s long-established design flair with its more recent strength in movement manufacturing. The 45.6 x 51 mm case is available in white or pink gold. Technical information is available below the image, which may be enlarged with a click.Calibre 9422 MC perpetual calendarMovement: Cartier Manufacture, mechanical self-winding, perpetual calendar, individually numberedCasing diameter: 11 ?''' Hello boys and girls,I don't know if this topic already exists but, if not, can you help me out about the AP ROO rubber straps?I have seen on many pictures around the forum that straps come into different colours (i.e white, brown, navy blue etc)Are any of those official AP straps? It has come to my attention that AP produced only BLACK straps.Am i right??And if yes, except from the AP boutiques, is there a safe online place to buy a pair? Please shed some light!( ..I have a reason for asking )Cheers
Speedmaster leather strap recommendations
Hi all. Wondering if I could get some leather strap recommendations for the moon watch? Realized I hate the steel. Don't really care for natos anymore. Been using the isofrane rubber which I love but getting a little sick of. Also feel that's more of a summer thing. Never got to try gas gas bones. That guy is closed again. So some cool suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Rolex Two Tone late 70s Thunderbird
Would like to get some opinions. I recently have been given an offer to buy a two tone Rolex Thunderbird made during my birth year. No box, papers or bracelet. It has the 1570 movement, 14k gold unidirectional bezel and stainless steel 36mm case. It is in excellent condition including bezel and has been serviced recently. The dial is gold tone. The seller is asking $3,500. I never thought about a two tone until now. Being made in my birth year makes it extremely tempting. I have been shopping for a Rolex to be worn in casual and formal attire (sporty but also dressy). I really like the added bonus of the unidirectional bezel with date as it would be an extra function for a watch at this price point. Should I pull the trigger or keep shopping around? 36-39mm case sizes look perfect on my 7 inch wrist. Thanks for any opinions.
