SMP bezal change
hi, im thinking of swapping out the bezel inserts on my bond seamaster (black). i would like the red insert (from the Vancouver Olympic SMP).and i think the blue insert would be a cool change up too. i know how to pop off the bezel its the acquiring the inserts that is the problem.has anyone tried to do this before? i think the black on black is getting a little old so i want to do a sort of lv thing :)does anyone know where i could source two bezel inserts from? the blue and the red?cheers Mitch
My first Panerai and removing the crown guard.
Just got my PAM-112 today and I'm pretty much extatic.Just wanted to ask if it would be sensible to remove the two screws holding the crown guard in place to dettach it. The crown guard is full of gunk (because I bought a used one) and I would like to run it in my ultrasound cleaner (basically suspend it into water that's vibrating really fast). Do you see any reason not to?

Braclet Market Strategy
I'm a little curious. What if Rolex began offering the option to ditch the braclet on certain models (like the DJ or GMT) in favor of a strap? Certain brands do this already (Omega, Blancpain) and it lowers the cost of the watch by over $2k. This is especially useful for people (like myself) who prefer straps over bracelets, particularly on watches that aren't specifically designed to be in the water.Just wondering the general thoughts of the community.
